چکیده

This study identified three soil bacteria (NRRU-BW3, NRRU-BW3, and NRRU-TV11) that degrade chlorpyrifos, produce indole-3-acetic acid, exopolysaccharides under pesticide stress. The results revealed were as Priestia megaterium Bacillus siamensis NRRU-BW9, amyloliquefaciens NRRU-TV11. These strains showed the ability to acid (IAA) (EPS) in chlorpyrifos. Moreover, these can chlorpyrifos (CP) an aqueous medium, and a 33–52% degradation rate was observed after 14 days of incubation. Inoculation with NRRU-TV11 significantly increased (P < 0.05) plant height, root length, biomass vigour index rice seedlings compared uninoculated controls chlorpyrifos-contaminated soil. findings demonstrated beneficial effects indigenous on seedling development recommended this strain potential replacement for growth improvement environmental bioremediation pesticide-contaminated agricultural soils.

Biodegradation of Polychlorinated Biphenyls by and Isolated from Contaminated Soil

Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) cause many significant ecological problems because of their low degradability, high harmfulness, and solid bioaccumulation. Two bacterial strains were isolated from soil that had been polluted with electrical transformer liquid for more than 40 years. The isolates were distinguished as Lysinibacillus macrolides DSM54Tand Bacillus firmus NBRC1530...

Biodegradation of methylene blue from aqueous solution by bacteria isolated from contaminated soil

The use of biodegradation methods by microorganisms in the removal of industrial dyes are widely considered owing to their high efficiency and compatibility to the environment. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the biodegradation of methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solution by bacteria isolated from contaminated soil. This study was performed in laboratory scale on bacteria isolated and pu...

Effects of soil pH on the biodegradation of chlorpyrifos and isolation of a chlorpyrifos-degrading bacterium.

We examined the role of microorganisms in the degradation of the organophosphate insecticide chlorpyrifos in soils from the United Kingdom and Australia. The kinetics of degradation in five United Kingdom soils varying in pH from 4.7 to 8.4 suggested that dissipation of chlorpyrifos was mediated by the cometabolic activities of the soil microorganisms. Repeated application of chlorpyrifos to th...

Friendly Bacteria Propping up Legumes Development in Pesticide Contaminated Soil

The plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are having a crucial role in the soil fertility. However, the accumulation of various pesticides into the soil is harmful for their existence in the rhizosphere and also for their activities. The present investigation was aimed to study the friendly nature of Pseudomonas sp. in the growth promotion of some leguminous plants by its special abilitie...
